RV, RVR or RVT?
The key difference between the RV, RVR and RVT rotary valves we supply is the geometry of the inlet and outlet.
RV rotary valves are a standard design, with square or rectangular inlet and outlets. This makes it easy to mount under hoppers or bins with matching flanges, and are the go-to option for straightforward installations.
RVR rotary vales have a transition design with a round inlet and square outlet – used when you need to connect equipment with different geometries e.g. feeding from a cyclone into a screw conveyor or hopper.
RVT rotary valves feature a round inlet and outlet, making them better suited for pneumatic conveying lines or pipework, where circular connections are preferable for airflow and sealing.

Standard Rotary Valves
These standard rotary valves are perfect when there’s different pressures on each side of the valve. These valves consist of a cast iron or stainless steel body with a horizontally mounted rotor with a number of pockets.
Feed rates from 2.0 to 20 litres per revolution
Working temperature: from 30c to 150c
